Taken at 5.38am Tuesday (this morning)

Why is the moon at very different places at roughly the same time of day?

Seriously?

Might have something to do with orbits and spinning, gravity and the like?

Is it requisite that respondents to this thread must not have a human head?

Of course it doesn't move. You've clearly stood in a pothole.

The reason how the cameraman was able to film the landing on the moon.

Joking apart you should look at the moon through a telescope one day - treat yourself to one of those cheap Aldi ones; they're surprisingly good for 35 quid. You'll struggle to see it for more than a few seconds because in high magnifications it really does fly across the sky at some speed.

That isn't actually the moon. Due to recent legislation, local councils have had to install height-adjustable street lamps to reduce light pollution in residential areas.

Had you taken the photo 6 minutes later this morning, the street lamp would have lowered to the same position as people begin to wake up.

I'll try to be serious.

The moon is travelling around the earth.
It takes just over 28 days to make one circuit around the earth.
Therefore, each day, it rises a little bit later as it has moved its position compared to the previous day.

Found this out the first time I tried taking a photo of the moon on a zoom lens. First photo - too dark, second photo - too bright, 3rd photo - it's gone off the edge of the screen!
