Well its some time now since TVR built a car and I cant help myself from thinking what has happened to genuine sales descriptions,
The theme of the moment seems to be something around the 'new theme'
'Smells Like New' ' Just Like brand new' 'better than new'
I have thought of a few of my own
"Now costs more than new' 'Not as much warranty as when new' 'will cost as much to fix as when new' 'still smells like new glue'
'engine may go pop just as when new"
It would be nice for dealers to get back to some descriptions with some specifications, benefits and key upgrades from standard,
Just an observation

Bob,
We bought a 7 year old TVR earlier in the year, its still got the new TVR smell, and its every bit as good as it was when new - better prepared than new certainly.
It cost more than new - £35, it had more warranty than when new, will cost more to fix when it was new (7 years later it probably should) but its GRP that I can smell rather than glue ..
Some of the cars at the dealers now commanding big prices are standard cars with little in the way of extras or after market mods but I'm fairly certain that the ads for the high end priced cars have enough info to attract serious buyers.
Certainly didnt seem to hang around for long in the Summer season.
