CG Lock

My Volvo has leather seats which offer the grip of an oil coated jelly. As I'm going to be doing a track day or two I'm considering buying a CG Lock to hold me in place. Obviously I'm not expecting harness like grip but anything has to be an improvement on the standard inertia belts.

Any recommendations or views?

They're pretty good. I bought one a long while ago and have used it in a number of cars.

It's good value given the support and flexibility it offers.

I agree.

Whilst not as good as a harness, it does give a very noticeable improvement. (To the point where I'm not actually that bothered about getting harnesses now)

I think I'll get one of these ordered. Quite a few places online saying no stock although Demon Tweeks seem to have them.

It'll keep your backside/hips in place, but won't stop your upper torso from rolling from side to side.

I bought mine for the Iggy Sport, and swapped them into the MX5, they do help. Only problem is driving other cars and trying to adjust a CG lock that isn't there…
