Driving to Berlin and the Green Sticker

We have an event in Berlin in a few weeks and reading up on it we will need a Green Sticker to be able to drive into Berlin.

However we have a few problems

1: To get one on line we need the V5 which we don't have yet as its a new van and it's not turned up.
2: We are going on a weekend so I'm guessing the garage's we could pick one up from will be closed.

Does anyone have any top tips on what to do and where to get one of these stickers from.

You should be able to get one in the Tüv centers but im not sure if tey will be open

Personally, i wouldnt worry about it. I have lived within the umwelt zone for 4 years and not one of my cars (british) has had a sticker and iv been pulled several times and its not been mentioned.

I did try and get a umwelt zone ticker at a Tüv center but my UK V5 doc bamboozeled them so much they refused.

You will have no problems at all. I too have my Uk car here ab und zu and there has been no problems but having said that, the local garage gave me one for free last Christmas!

I wouldn't worry about it on a UK car. I've driven in central Stuttgart twice without any environmental stickers (I can't get even the lowest one for my car even though the Germans can for the same model) and had no problems. It's only a 40 euro fine if you were to get unlucky so not the end of the world.

My capri is too dirty to get a sticker but too young to be exempt,i took it to its birthplace in cologne this year without a sticker with no probs,i even got pulled for an illegal u turn and the copper didnt mention it.
