Bought some tyres: no idea what car they fit! Anyone know?

A few years ago I bought a job lot of spare parts for my Renault 5 Turbo 2. Unfortunately this included 2 slightly used metric-sized tyres that I didn't actually want. My car is long gone, but the tyres are still hanging about in the roof of my garage.

Does anyone know what car they would have been fitted on? They are:

Michelin TRX 200/60 HR 365

This is not an R5 Turbo 1/2 size.

Aren't they Matric size???
Certain older BMW 5 series, provided the owners haven't changed the wheels to a more sensible size.

Not 5-series as far as I know. Google brings up a lot of 1980's Alfa Romeo results, particularly Alfetta

are you just trying to find out which car they fit, or are you going to sell them on? if they are 6 years old or older they will probably not be roadworthy anyway

I remember a friend of mine had an old five series with metric tyres around that size.

Maybe worth brushing up on your German and advertising them on eBay.de .... It's sometimes odd ball stuff like this that fetchs a fortune .... sometimes.

E24 6 Series and E34 5 Series both were available on metric tyres iirc.

Some Alfa's, Austin Montego's and old 5-series were equipped with these Metric Sized (mm) tyres.

BMW 5 or 6 series are 390mm wheels. I'm rolling on these at the moment.

It was mostly just out of curiosity. I'm not expecting to sell them, but someone's welcome to pick them up for free (East Northants), if they have any use for them. Maybe as emergency spares?

Stick them on Ebay and see what happens!
