Just a quick question looking at just used M3.

spotted these three for sale;

YK11 UUO
YK11 VTO
YK11 URH

No real idea, but my guess would be these are ex BMW press or Demo cars.

What are they worth?

Worth a go?

Will their providence alter there future values , say 2 years down the line?

What will a white well specd m3, be worth in 2 years time with say 25000 miles and 3 yrs old, with new model out?
Would it be safer to put the same amount of dosh into a just used 1m??

Thanks

not looking to invest but thought if the cars had only done 1000 or so track miles
half in the hands of client other in instructor and come fettled with warranty.
might be a reasonable way of getting into a newish well specd v8?

Having a press car is definitely an interesting talking point to any petrolhead

There are not press cars. They are Palmersport GTP experience cars, stripped, rollcage, lpg conversion, etc.

Except the lpg and cage has been removed and the standard interior refitted.

Suddenly, ex-press cars look more desirable!

Yes, they do. If not marginally better. And its a cleaner burning fuel.

Cleaner burning fuel for sure. I ran a factory spec car for a while (not BMW) LPG and after 6000 miles the oil was still like new!!! however it was certainly down on power and consumption, but cost wise the saving on a litre, compared the the increased fuel consumption still made it cheap to run.

As for a car like an m3 running LPG, can't imagine it giving the same bhp, however an interesting concept.

Bye the way drove/inspected one of these cars.

perfect condition.
never had a cage.
no lpg conv.
no track use.
tyres discs pads all typical for 3000 mile car.

Yes iam sure some of them are ex track cars but not all.

Providence of each car needs research prior to writing them all off .only IMHO

would have no qualms buying, just fact i am looking for an "Edition"

Yak, your initial post asked if your money would be better put into a 1M. I would say that you will lose less money when you resell a 1M and will have a load more fun when you own it smile
