Help needed to find manufacturer of 1980s prototype

Was discussing classic Aston Martins with a colleague and jolted my memory to a car i saw in one of my Dad's car magazines around 1985 (think it was "Car" magazine).

It was an article on a coupe that had a glass sunroof that self tinted when very bright, the rear seat was a single seat that allowed the passenger to sit sideways and the rear end had numerous round brake lights in a horizontal row and worked with the harder the brake pedal was pushed the more lights illuminated.

Now i cannot for the life of me remember who the manufacturer was, i am sort of thinking it was Aston martin or Jaguar, but it was definitely British.
IIRC the car in the article was a grey/green colour.

Can anyone throw any light on this for me?

The lights sound like the Aston Martin Ogle special, but that was in the 70s.

Thanks for posting that, it is indeed the article that i read. Wrong year and magazine but at least i got the decade right!

That side on shot makes it look like a b'stard son of an Austin Princess and a Corvette Stingray.

As an indicator of the market at the time, that article quotes a value of £150k.

I remember Oselli selling the other one in the mid 80s for under 30.
