Best fast / fun Salloon / 4x4 - e.g. M5 / ML63 etc....

I've been running 2 supercars recently (LP550 and F430) using both as day to day transport. I now need more space.....think decent sized car (E class sized up), BUT I'd like 4 wheel drive for the extra traction and for if I want to go on a road trip round Europe or go to the Alps.

So.....I'm not used to thinking of bigger cars (always had sports cars for last 4yrs), if your requirements were:

- Must be FUN day to day, as I won't get chance to take the supercar out that much on weekends
- Must be luxurious (e.g. like a Range Rover but more sporty)
- Must have loads of toys - bluetooth audio connectivity etc.
- Must be no more than £100k after options, and ideally I'm looking to save a bit of money vs. my present rides too (both of which do 15mpg etc.), and low depreciation

What should I be looking at? Considered so far:

- X5M
- X6M
- ML63
- E63 - looks a bit dull
- CLS63 - looks a little old man?
- M5 - bit boring inside
- M3 / C63 - the sporty versions look too similar imho to a standard C180 / 320i
- Maserati Grandturismo - nice but only 2 doors, 4 is better
- Audi RS5 - as above

....anything else worth considering? What would you pick?

ok, well personally, I've had sportscars but also had and driven a lot of fast saloons/estates, Audi RS4, RS6, M5, Quattroporte.

Currently I'm driving a 996TT and a Cayenne Turbo.

I'd discount the X5/X6M as I see them stuck in the snow whenever it happens.

A Range Rover will be much more luxurious than anything else but not as quick as most even in SC form.

I'd go try a new Cayenne Turbo and see what you think, mine is very quick and very chuckable. The Audi RS cars are v good but not sure the new RS6 is out yet, RS4 will be shortly though although you may want something bigger.

As above, take a look at a Cayenne or even a Panamera whilst you're at the dealer.

I can get an early Cayenne Turbo S when they come out next year but it's looking like the priciest option of the lot by some ways. The X5M etc....they're about £50k for a barely used one. Cayenne Turbo S is £110k with a few options.
