Just started on quest channel Kit car Crisis building a AGM WLR with a busa engine! The programme scares me as the guy has never built a kit before! Time will tell.

Yah shortly after the start they changed the car! I don't think I can watch it, my throw things at TV out of frustration. Similar to the classic car restoration programme just frustrating to watch! Never seen it before was probably on sky!

Over the years I have spoken to one or two suppliers involved with this program and none of them have anything good to say about it.

In regards to kit car in crisis, I've just seen a couple of episodes...I share your concerns how can the producers let him drill a hole in aluminium, leave the burr without correcting this oversite especially as preview of follow up show has Mark feeding a cable though the same hole with Burr.

Whilst, I applaud the producers the idea to take a Novice and place him in a alien environment, where's the sanity check against other viewers not knowing right from wrong and following this shows poor example of mechanical engineering. There is the occassional sane voice when an expert suggested covering up intakes to oil reservoir tank whilst Mark was drilling, to prevent ingress of swarf..but this type of correction to unsafe practises is too little tool late.
