Anyone been to the Fred Dibnah heritage centre?

Hi all.
Has anyone visited there at all?
I fancy a trip there, but I noticed it's not open to just wander round at your convenience. I could see guided tours only, which I am not too interested in.
Has anyone been, and was it any good? I have read it may be at risk of closure, so would like to get there sooner rather than later!

I wanted to see it when it was a scrap yard.
I know the current owner payed 180k when it was being offered for 350k, and now wants to shift it for circa 1.15 million as a running business.
But i don't wish to discuss all that, I just wish to visit his house as it was when he died in 2004.
