When I were but a boy I had an official F1 team management game made by Microprose based around the 95 season.

Does anyone know if there is anything similar around today?

I see there are loads of F1 management games online against other people but I want a game that I play by myself not with others!

Don't Codemasters have an online version of their F1 game? Not sure if you can only play amongst others though

It would be really boring though. At every race you would only need two options:

1. Steal Red Bull design
2. Complain about Red Bull design to FIA

Great game, I tried to find it last year but couldnt get a ROM anywhere.

Would make a great phone game imo (F1 story by Kaidosoft is good, but not realistic enough for me)

f1online is available where you make your own car, race in fields to obtain cash to buy blueprints nad manufacturing pieces etc. not half bad but you do drive each race ( 3 laps ) and it is micro machines style birdseye view. Quite fun and I play regularily with 5 or so friends when we go class chasing. 1 of us usually just blocks others to give 1 of us a win ( Yes, we are annoying and sad, we do win though )

Not bad games 2012 is the easier sim to use, not worth £20 quid though!

Am 3 seasons in and car is finally breaking into the top 10 in each race.

What we need is a modern version of EA's F1 Manager.

Preferably not made by EA though biggrin

Really??? 3 seasons in Id won the World Championship, 4th season and I won every race and Id trained both my drivers to have every skill and I was making a 100mil a season! I got bored at that point and decided it wasnt worth continuing to play.

And I started with the lowest ranked team. The depth of gameplay was naff.
