Snap.

Average age is 60. Porsche boss said the 911 Turbo was designed for the 50+ man who has been there and done it all.

I was 32 when I bought my 1st Porsche which was a 996 turbo, then I got my 997 GT3 at 36.

I dreamt about getting one for many years and the experiance of owning them has been fantastic, I love them.

I waited until the kids were independent, and I didn't need a taxi any more. 48, and that was 12 years ago if it matters.

I fully planned to have a Porsche by 30. It was a kind of promise to myself to mark the milestone. I had saved up for quite some time, and had a car to sell which would have seen me into a nice 997, i was just about to start the search early this year (had actually enquired about one) when my mrs told me she was pregnant with our 1st child. Gaaaaaaah!!!!! I still could have got one but I think a house upgrade has taken preference now & my car to sell has changed into the family bus.

Mrs bought me an experience day for my birthday to make up for my dream being shattered where I drove a 997T. So the new targets Porsche by 35.

I have a bank account online called Porsche fund & every month I stick as much as I can in. I think with a bit of dedication I'll get there.

Had always wanted one by the time I was 30 - looked at 29 but decided on something else, came back at 32 and bought a Gen II Cayman S which I kept for about 2 years (now sold frown ). I am planning to come back in about 12-18 months for a nearly new Cayman S *fingers crossed*

34. Would have been earlier but living in London, parking always tempers your enthusiasm for putting a good car on the street.

23 here. I don't think there is a meaningful 'average' age on any semi-desirable car; plenty of young people with disposable income these days.

Edit: actually, was 22 when I got both of them, how time flies.

I was 27 when I bought my first Porsche, a 1yr old Cayman S. 29 when I bought my first 911, a 3yr old GT3. Still in the GT3 after 2.5 yrs. I always felt like the youngest person at OPCs, av age is a lot higher.
