No, not cracking as you Poms say for really awesome, but cracking as in it sounds like it's cracked. My Tamora developed a noise whenever I drove up onto a driveway, or down the ramp into my basement parking. I was concerned that a weld had broken on the chassis, or that a bush had collapsed in the suspension somewhere but it turns out that all the nuts under the chassis had worked their way loose. A few minutes swinging a spanner and the car was transformed and noise-free. It has actually made quite a difference to the handling as well.

So I guess I wanted to check if this is a common problem with Tamoras/T350s, or if it's something unique brought on by the Queensland heat/humidity in this part of the world? Anyone else suffered this problem?

I had the same thing when the car was new. Kida sounds like a plate clicking and usually when the front wheels were going up onto a garage forecourt etc. I checked everything and couldn't find the problem. Interestingly it went away when I had the geometry done so I guess it was suspension related in some way.

Mine began doing this recently, creaking and cracking when going up inclines into garages etc - sprayed the suspension arms etc with silicone spray and whilst it has helped, it hasn't cured it, i'll get it sorted at the next service.

All the nuts were locknuts, so they shouldnt have worked loose. Some of them kept turning though when tightening, so the bolt heads must have come loose on the top of the chassis rails.
