Range Rover TDV8 for winter? Advice Please!!

I'm thinking about buying one to run through winter. I had a test drive of the 4.4 TDV8 the other day which was great but I couldn't justify that amount of money if I’m going to sell it in spring.
So Anyway, firstly I would b looking at 2007/2008 (so the 3.6) what's the reliability like? Would it be worth getting a warranty put on? Can Land Rover do that?
Also I don't know too mu8ch about them but what comes as standard? These would be the only things I'd be after:
Heated front seats
Heated rear seats (Ideally although it's not vital)
Sat Nav
Parking sensors (I'm not fussed if it has a camera)
Heated steering wheel (not sure if this was available on the 07/08 cars the new one i drove had it)
Any advice appreciated!

Depending on the MY the Vogue is bottom of the range. Heated fronts only, and no cooled seats at all.Vogue SE has heated/cooled front seats, not sure about rear.

You're right, but I'm referring to as far back as 2002 when it was top, barring possibly Autobiography. Now I think about it, maybe the first Vogue we had in 2002 didn't have a heated steering wheel. I don't remember now.Vogue SE has heated/cooled front seats, not sure about rear.
AB has/can have heated/cooled front and rear seats.

absoloutely sensationally brilliant. Mine has not put a foot wrong in the 2 years I have owned it. I wouldnt swap it for any other off roader (apart from the petrol V8)..get it bought. However, since I picked up a 7 year old Subaru Forester it has been largely redundant for most uses, dont know how good an advert that is!?... I largely put this down to not wanting to damage the interior,even the exterior when I have an old shed of a AWD to boot about the lanes!..
..Mine has all the spec you listed, but is a slightly later car. The only extra cost options as far as I am aware on mine were the Sidesteps, Towbar, Lightguards and Roofbars!..

It annoys me - Vogue was always something special before that. At least it was impossible and other have a bottom-spec Vogue in a 'bad' spec.Anyhow...go for it
And it stopped lower end shoppers from feeling inadequate with HSE on the rump of their Range Rover

A 4x4 could make more sense for someone in Scotland than for someone in Cheshire, it could.

My 03 vogue has all that so can't imagine they wouldn't be on a newer vogue, go for it they're greatHeated front seats

Can anybody confirm whether the Vouge has all the toys I’ve asked about or whether I’ll have to look for a SE instead? I’ve tried reading the classifieds ads on here and Autotrader but not all of them mention all the spec, they just ramble on about “amazing condition etc etc”

Anyway, check all electric's work fine. The engine is smooth as some tdv8's can chew a turbo.
Otherwise usual check's really. Buy on condition than mileage and be prepared to keep it longer than winter as they can get under you're skin and you won't want to get rid of it.
