Had my Clio 182 since January. Over the time I've made a few subtle mods to it. First of all a quick picture of it's preprocessor which will need no introduction on PH

So on the 31st of Jan it was replaced by this completely standard 182 with cup packs.

Then within the next few months I tidied it up and added:

3/4 front plate
Skoda Fabia Mk2 splitter
Silvervision bulbs
Aero wipers
Scorpion exhaust
Custom induction setup

Future mods include lowering springs newly developed by Cooksport who race in Cliocup. I'd also like a remap and possibly a second set of wheels for if I decide to go on track.

Opinions and comments welcome.

Nice, looks really good in black too. I especially like the smaller front number plate, I need to do that to my 172. Interested in your comment about the springs, how do they compare to the ubiquitous Eibachs?

I haven't got them yet. They're going to be an xmas present. I will compare them to the sportlines I had on my previous phase 1 172.

Get yourself over to cliosport.net mate. Its a must have for any Clio owner. My names Brett over there.

really like that...... looks Nice. Might consider a Clio sport as im looking for sumthing under 5K and the clio seems a good all rounder.

Do you prefer it to the MX5?

Thanks.

It looks far better with the slightly smaller plate though. It's standard UK Font and width, just slightly shorter. Illegal, yes technically but I wouldn't consider it to be 'chav'. Each to their own mind.

I do. The MX5 is a great car but as an all rounder the Clio is better. Miles better day to day and just as fun whilst driving enthusiastically.

It doesn't look chivvy at all, makes it look quite neat and tidy at the front, your car you choice.

Nice OEMish 182. Love the color although I bet can be a b_tch to keep clean.

I'm after some springs for my 172 once the winter has passed. Have you got any more info on those Cooksport ones?

The one main thing i would change on any Clio 182 is the sterring wheel. always felt too big for the car, it needs to be small and chunky.

Looks like a mint 182, i don't see many black ones about normally all blue.
