whats it worth then E61 M5?
Discussion
I know what its cost me since i bought it including the yrs comp mondial warranty (Renewed it when i was thinking of selling) privacy glass; 12 mnths tax; errr and the m5 plate.
Done a couple thousand miles in it but have just changed jobs and really wont be using at all; once a week at absolute best.
So an E61 M5 with 73,800 full bmw history and warranty since day 1 with absolutely nothing needing doing? Am going to autotrader/ebay it.
Love it but it really wont be used when i start the new job in 2 weeks

Yes looking on here and autotrader there's a couple low milers With issues hiding
much prefer a higher mileage me. I ended up keeping the warranty on it as a lapsed policy was around £2400 and although im not sold on the need for warranty on this car with my usage i appreciate it will put buyers off.

Id love to be proved wrong as Im thinking about selling mine and I know theres a shortage, but I dont think that necessarily translates in to higher prices especially in the current economic climate.

I just paid £13 and a bit for a 78000 mile e60 if it lets you gauge a value, so saloon v touring. Granted it is indianapolis Red which isn't the most desirable, but i'm guessing trade value on a touring with similar miles is £15-16, so adverse it £18-19k and you might just get a nibble!!

Webuyanycar just offered 14.8K for mine lol which to be fair is about 50% more than they would give when finally seeing it and doing their usual. I'd be looking at putting mine on at 21K if it was up for sale but it really isn't.

I must have missed that leather idea?
Also yours has lower mileage than mine so I'd imagine it would be about right.
Havn't voiced the idea. Testing the water currently. Also yours has lower mileage than mine so I'd imagine it would be about right.
Im torn between buying a nearly new Range Rover Sport Autobiography with this leather (its amazing in the flesh) and just retrimming the M5 and keeping it. I hate itches for new cars and i get so many! The colour is ivory edges with really dark blue perforated middles. The dash will be a mix of the same.

Nice interior they really do know how to do luxury quality cabins!
I think you do have a leather fetish though
I remember the quality of the leather in the RS4 and 6's but the BMW's don't quite cut it do they? I love the smell of the BMW interior but I think Audi in the C5 edge the quality of trim.

Indeed, the Natural leather in my RS6 was as taught and fresh at 90k as it was when it rolled off the line. BMW leather is way too soft in my opinion and I'm shocked at how quick it wears, especially around the bolsters. If it was thicker and firmer it'd be a far nicer place to be.I think you do have a leather fetish though

Was looking at a Panamera recently and was gobsmacked how much better the carpets and leather were... I guess that will be the replacement one day... i let it go for around £18 or less ish in the end. bit of an odd one as he was selling his e61 535d se which i took in px with £6600 in cash. assuming that his was worth about £11,500. lovely car in monaco blue with cream leather comfort seat and dark wood. that said my new job is directly opposite a bmw main dealer and i have already been in looking at F10's and X6's (E&?)
