Motorsport mounts for mobile phone?

I'm not planning on texting whilst lapping the Ring..don't worry.

What I want to find though is anyone who has either bought a mount or made a mount to allow them to use their mobile phone for recording whilst driving. I use my Galaxy Note on track days but when I use either the Samsung mount (flipped around to allow me to view out the front window from behind the driver) or a custom mount (usually metal 'L' brackets from B&Q braced to remove flex) the video is unwatchable on anything but the smoothest of tarmac due to vibration.

I think the fact I have competition engine mounts, poly bushes and Variant 2's on hard isn't helping but there must be a solution. I had a POV1 before and also am going to try a Go Pro Hero 2 at the weekend.

I've added a pic to show you what I have to work with (no cage...that would solve it!).

Forget the phone mount, the belts are all manner of wrong! They should overlap at that length, and the buckle should be up against the bar!

Thanks, I'm only after feedback from the question although I will answer both replies.

First one, it's a track car (road legal) I have no need of this 'comfort'

On the belts, I haven't finished fitting the seats yet (or the belts) so don't worry I'll be safe I promise!

Now about my question...
