XJ 350 rear parking sensors

Any help appreciated. The parking sensors on my 04 XJ 4.2 SE have developed a fault. The 2 on the n/s appear to be working ok (with your ear up close you can hear then ticking) but the 2 on the o/s are not. I have got to the back of the sensor and checked for live feeds. The red and white wire has a live feed. The other 2 (white, and green/black) do not. Does anyone know if this is normal or should there be another feed? I would like to find out before I pay out on replacement sensors and find its not them. Thanks in advance.

I got the same problem with the sensors on my X Type. They worked perfectly until I had a new battery fitted. Now they don't work at all & two garages have so far been unable to work out why.

Why not swap the sensors over and see if the fault moves with them? If it does then you've found the problem, if not then there's some other cause.
