Tuscan Track Tyre Pressures

I'm planning on taking my Tuscan 2 out onto track.

What tyre pressures would those who have been out on track recommend I start off with?

I ran my 2S at 24 psi on Goodyear F1s but I have no idea if that is the best pressure or not. I assume that when they warmed up a bit they should have been around the normal 26psi

Get them filled with nitrogen and they will stay at set pressure,fast road is good at 24 in my Tusc S

Standard pressure T350/Tuscan/Sag. (cold) 24psi F. 26psi R

1. TRACK USE #. .......................... (cold) add 5psi all round.

Lower back to standard at the end of the day or superglue teeth in place ! We used these settings at the factory when we took tvr,s to the track. Worked well . Also used the same on Chim/Griff. Some Drivers Prefer 24psi all round with Bridgestone tyres or with Toyo tyres 26psi rear

I always thought you lower the pressures..

I start with standard and then lower if they get hot, (30ish). knocking a few lb off

I know my experience is on a Cerb and not a Tuscan but I usually set them at 18 PSI cold which give me 28PSI when really hot, seems to work OK.

I end up about the same as you.

Just remember on a cold damp T/D your tyres won't get up to heat so don't start too low.

I used to run 26PSI on track

I was asking the very same question of the Tuscan Challenge racers... Those I asked said LOWER your pressures from normal road pressures before you start, as your on-track temps will be much hotter than normal and so pressures will end up being higher.......

Advice given to me was start off with about 20-22 psi. As soon as return to pits check pressures asap - if they're about 28-30psi hot, then you're ok.

Depends how hard you're gonna try I suppose too.
