Pushbike ride on the Rhine

I’m traveling to the continent with my wife next September and we want to do a leisurely pushbike tour in Germany through the Rhine Valley and river. We have set aside week for the ride, but we need some advice on who would be a good tour company to use and maybe any experiences people may have had. No camping, and the upper end of the hotel scale. Thanks in advance

Can't help you with the tour side of things but this September I took a long weekend at the Nurburgring and took my bike with me. I drove around 30 miles from my hotel in Welcherath and parked up next to the Rhine near Cochem, and did an 80 mile round trip cruise to Koblenz and back.

What I can tell you is that it's a beautiful part of the world to ride in, and that the Germans really have it right with their road design and consideration for cyclists. All the way along the Rhine where I was riding there were wide 2-way cycle paths and a complete absence of potholes, well signposted with distances. If you stick along the banks of the Rhine it's also pan flat, although there are some nice climbs out above the terraced vineyards
