fk! How am I meant make unplanned weekend purchases of vehicles hey? Hey? I just rang 'em up cos I know from painful experience they like advance warning if you intend to take more than 50p out. But apparently their branches don't have a 'counter service' on Saturdays ie you can't get your shagging money out on a Saturday

private sale. Impulse buy. Some people aren't comfortable with internet payments etc they think they're going to get scammed.

Change bank. I got that sort of money out of LTSB a few weeks ago, no notice, no warning, Saturday morning.

Yes some of our branches are open sir.

Go and visit a branch and you will find the doors are open but no counter staff, uterly stupid company.

Had the same experience myself. When the counter staff ARE there, they want you're CHEQUE book to get money out?! It's my bloody money and I don't see why I should have to dig something out that I haven't seen since 1985 to get at it!

You can pay for things by swiping your phone against a reader nowadays and they're on cheque books? For gods sake...

That's what you get for being with a st bank.

I bank with Barclays. An institution which has never had a bad word said against it.

I've found they offer the industry's best fixed rates.

I was looking into one of them personalised cards you can get with Barclays, but shoving my own face into the machine just feels weird.
