Recommend me a winter road cycliong jacket

It is starting to get cold and I need to get a decent windproof cycling jacket. Can someone recommend one that isnt stupidly expensive, budget up to £100

Can't help you in the jacket I'm afraid, my suggestion would be a budget buster,hoever I can thoroughly recommend DeFeet Woolie Boolie merino socks to keep your feet warm, even with my vented 'summer' shoes they are doing a sterling job of keeping my toes toastie, they are £12 on wiggle and well worth it.

So there you go, my jacket recommendation is a pair of socks

If you can find an Assos Airblock 851 in ebay, grab it with both hands.

Have a look at Giordana...their Windtex range comes in under budget & would do the job well. It's been the staple issue of many a UK club/team for years.

I did a couple of years ago. I love Assos stuff and their winter glove system is superb but the airblock jacket was very disappointing. My recommendation would be the Mavic Inferno jacket. If you hunt around they can be had for £79.99 from Evans in XL. I've ridden in it for last two winters at well below freezing(-8ish). Above 8c and it's too hot.
