Electrical Help Please!!!

Have recently changed the battery on my old faithfull terrano as the old one was slow cranking when left for a while. All good, now flies over and starts with ease.

I have today noticed the fuel and temp gauges have started to remain operational when the key is removed? Never done this before? Maybe why the old battery failed? It may have been doing this on the old battery but i cant be sure. Have disconnected and re connected the new battery but no change?

Any PH Electrical bods able to point me in the right direction? Stuck relay maybe? Elecs not my strong point!
