getting auto paint computer matched - recommendations?

Has anyone any recommedations for where I can get some paint (tins & aerosols) matched by computer analysis of the existing colour of my car? The reason being that I have no way of knowing what exactg colour it is because it was re-sprayed 30 years ago. I have read that some places have equipment which can do spectro-analysis presumably with a lens attached to a computer?

Thoughts anyone?

ETA - I've found these chaps on the internet and Banbury isn't too far for me, anyone got any experience of them?

Google 'paint factor [your town]' to find one near you.

Oddly that's not coming up with anything; Paint Factor Reading/Slough etc...? Got a sample link?

When I worked in a bodyshop, our paint suppliers would send someone out to analyze older paintwork and make-up the colour.

That's obviously no use if you're looking for a DIY solution - but if you're thinking of a bodyshop, they could all get this sort of thing done...

Otherwise you need a paint factor, as someone said.

I just right clicked on 'paint factors reading' in your post and the first item in the list was Reading Paint Services of 389 Gosbrook Road.

Oh I see what you mean now, paint factor being a generic term rather than a chain of suppliers called 'Paint Factors' silly me...
