Ebay Motors Auction?? Help/Advice

Hi Guys,

Was thinking of an ebay auction for selling my car, not sure how good it is for cars over 10k and under 3 years old?? Obviously looking for the most I can get for it, anyone have and tips or success stories they'd like to share?

Be prepared for a plethora of stupid questions and chancers. I have had far more luck with Autotrader.

Generally Ebay auctions sell things quickly, rather than getting the best price.

For that sort of car I'd go for Autotrader.

I'd stick it on EBay, but do it as a classified. In my experience selling the vehicle by auction is lots if hassle for a low sale price.

I've been watching a few recently, unless the car is totally exceptional, most will sell for no more than trade price.

You'll be lucky to get a good price. My experience, not that I'm a trader though, is the arse falls out of the car market until after January. Unless you've set a reserve expect a low price.
