Manual C250?

I know the golden rule with Mercs and their auto boxes but my budget may not be able to stretch to an auto box on the C250 CDI estate AMG Sport Plus.

So how does the manual box compare with this engine?

ETA : Am I better off specing the C220 with the auto box as this is within budget?

The issue is nobody will want to buy it used when you're selling on, not so much that they're bad boxes.

IIRC the C220 shares the same 2.1 engine but just detune, its probably the better option with the Auto box.

Should have a 7G+ auto box, which is excellent, probably the best around. Try driving an auto, you might be surprised.
