Chaps,

We've got to get a sample of Nobility along to this charity Brunters event - £55 for a Saturday event including butties! Notice that the charity rides are optional.

See details below, anyone else interested?

Subject: RE: Bruntingthorpe info.

The date is Saturday 25th September. Travis Perkins (the company I work for) are holding a driver of the year award at Bruntingthorpe around the tower area. We have arranged that the normal circuit be split into two and that the fast car track day will be at the bottom end (indie circuit). The clerk of the course is a guy called Pat Jackson who runs frequent track day up there (his company is Drive Action). He will cone the circuit to make it more interesting. This guy is a professional and will supply marshals, do briefings and ensure that all H&S requirements are adhered to.

All food etc will be provided (bacon rolls, hot buffet lunch, teas and coffees) but in a marquee near the tower.

I have the circuit from 09:00 until 17:00. Helmets must be worn (can be hired on the day). Novices must have a least one lap as a passenger with an instructor and tuition can be purchased from the instructors on the day.

Track briefings will be at 09:15 followed by Ducks and Drakes familiarisation.

I originally posted this at £40 for the afternoon but think that £55 for the day (including all food) would be a better deal.

Max of 50 cars on the day, max of 20 on the circuit at any one time (so far I have only had interest from about 15 people in total so you should get some decent track time). As an addition, and only if you are up for it, you will be able to offer dream rides to the people at the event. All money raised will go to charity.

I will collect money on the gate but would prefer that only people who have advised me previously turn up so that we can monitor numbers and ensure decent track time for all.

All the money raised from the track day part of the event will go to charity (Macmillan Cancer Relief). My company for covering the cost of marshals, clerk of the course etc.

I have only posted this on PH.

If you are interested in attending, please mail me through my profile so that I can monitor the numbers for catering etc.

Sorry to go on...hope this helps.

Is anyone here planning to fly the Noble flag this Saturday (for only £55)?

Has anyone used Brunters before - I've heard this is a rough track (surface/debris wise)?

Sorry no can do.

Brunters suffers from stones on the circuit, either stay well back from other cars, or get some "industrial cling film" and cover the front of your car.
