cv advice

I joined my present employer over 20yrs ago but after only a couple of months I was a victim of a cut in hours and left for a competitor all amicably
After another couple of months I came back to the first company asap as I much prefered it there
Should I include this on my cv at all and if so how?
Or should I just explain at interview to prove i'm not limited in just working for one company?

Not worth it, IMO. It was 20 years ago for a couple of months. I doubt anyone will be bothered.
