I have a strange obsession with Photoshopping cars. My main fondness is creating certain versions of cars that don't exist, past examples include Mondeo RS, C63 Cabrio etc. Anyway work is really busy dead this morning so I managed to spare a little time to create a new "piece".

I started looking for a Panamera image ready to "create" an estate version when I stumbled across the Porsche Gran Turismo concept car, when I spotted this I couldn't help but think the extra doors spoiled it, so I set about creating a 2 door (bread van) coupe which in my mind would feature four full seats. I chopped it about a little bit and was pretty pleased with the outcome, certainly better looking than the Ferrari FF (In my biased opinion of course hehe)

It started out as this:

And finished up as this:

Change List:
  • 4-2 Door conversion
  • Shortened chassis / Wheel base
  • Larger front intakes
  • Standard option Porsche wheels (custom deep rear)
  • 997 Mirror
In my imaginary brief it replicates the 997's specification & Price.

I used to be very much into "photshop modding" cars.

I learnt my skills from this brilliant website:

I'm afraid I prefer the four-door one.

Good effort with the photoshop though. smile

Very clever, but I think the bonnet is too long now in comparison to the rest of the car. I also prefer the wheels on the 4door

Excellent skills, would love to be able to do stuff like that.

Looks good too, though I already thought the original concept looked fantastic.

Stick a suicide door, RX8 style, on the drivers side only for rear seat access.

I love it. Could you post up your Mondeo RS as well? Always wondered what one would look like.

Yep, like that, not sure why Porsche manage to not get it quite that right.

What did you do apart from take the rear door shut line out (and the handle), take that bit of script out and change where the caliper was and the colour?

Anything else?

I was looking for other mods but couldn't find any ...

Have you seen the FF? hehe Although I can't complain about preffering the 4 door, its pretty handsome in my eyes too smile

Its a few years old actually, before I had an RS Focus myself actually but (thats my excuse for the poor finish hehe)

hehe I know, but when making it I loved the "chunky" feeling that was developing. Im sure if something like this was made, bulkiness wouldn't really effect performance as the current Turbo's prove bounce.

Looks awesome, I'd happily have one of them in the garage... theres a company who convert cars into 3 door etc (Merdad)
Strangely I have a love for a 3 door cayenne.... Don't ask why!?
Me too!! I have one parked between the G55 and the FFRR in my "Euro Millions garage"

As with all my photoshops I don't go mad with the modifications, I try to keep the cars looking as if they could be sitting in your local dealership. Therefore I try and make sure all donated parts are from the same manufacturer, for example when I made a C63 & GTR convertible the donor "interior" and windscreen were lifted from a CLK63 DTM & Infiniti G37 respectively. Other subtle changes to the Porsche include the mirror (Porsche) and larger front intakes, the car is also substantially shorter as well.

I hate that idea - a door on one side, I mean... if you need to get in the back, perhaps you'll need to get in the back from either side!

Also, how do you make both sides equally stiff? Stupid idea... biggrin

Sure I've seen something rather like the OP's two/three door online as a 'possible' modern 928 (probably Auto Express site or something).
