M5 Hibernation. Winter Wheels... Literally.
Discussion
Now that Jack Frost is kicking about the streets I thought it was time to put the MFunf in its Carcoon and wave good bye to it for a few months, until the Robins have fooked off and the Blue tits are singing sweet spring melodies.
Parting Shot:

To get my rump around town I have just bought this:

A 2002 GT TDI PD150, which I have affectionately named Sooty. 55-60 MPG and decently quick. It is amazing to watch the fuel needle stay put. I thought it was broke at first.
Will miss the E60 for these months but I am trying to keep it mint and keep the miles down. Just done 38400 now.
Whilst it is off the road I am going to have the wheels refurbished and new brakes upfront.
Has anyone else bought winter wheels?

Yes we bought a set of OEM winter wheels and tyres and pout them on 2 weeks ago. Like a different car, much softer to drive but the grip in the wet is phenomenal. Considered a second car but decided to go for winter tyres instead, would want them on any other car we might buy anyhow.
