My hand brake button keeps unscrewing and flying off due to worn threads on the alloy button. Is there a way of disassembling the hand lever to repair. Anybody got any spare buttons (TVR ones only!) Thanks

Is it a standard plastic TVR job like the Cerb? If so, those buttons aren't made anymore so I upgraded to a Leven handbrake lever.

If the threads are still there try using a liberal application of loctite.

Thanks David. 2-3 turns left. May use good old Araldite for keeps next time, or a thin helicoil?

Rob, you have given me an idea. Thanks.
