Picked him up from the dogs trust last week, 9 weeks old and 3.4kg last Monday. Weighed him at home on wednesday 3.5kg ok some scale/weighing variance. 6 days later he's 4.7kg yikes

How big is he going to get?

On that ratio he'll gain 73kgs every year and in his (estimated) life of 14 years, he'll weight just over a ton.

OR, he's a puppy so growing, and it'll stop soon enough. He'll end up roughly dog sized.

hehe

They do grow quite quick, don't they!

However, he does seem to have normal-sized paws, even for a pup, so he shouldn't get too big...

Make sure you're not over-feeding him, though - working to the "he'll stop when he's had enough" rulebook could well mean you have a <Hollywood voice over> one tonne puppy! wink

We weigh his food in line with the manufacturers recommendations. I reckon he will end up @ 9-10kg ish. Just a bit surprised at weight gain this week. Quite a good puppy overall pee's in the house but all solids outside. smile
