Did they actually make them? In the W212 series?

I've been rooting around for the last couple of months now though can't find the one I want yet.

Must haves are: -

AMG Performance Pack, keyless, panoramic roof, dynamic heated & ventilated front seats. Any other toys would be a bonus.

I appreciate that I may not get one with all of the above, and am quite prepared to wait for the right car, though would possibly compromise on certain things, though not the performance pack or the keyless.
However, I've spoken with a dealer earlier today who reckons that keyless go was not an option on the W212 models. I'm not convinced by this, as I've seen a couple of adverts (though not the cars in the flesh) mentioning cars with it on.

Anyone help with this? Just that it's something I don't really want to compromise on.

keyless go NOT an option on 212 E class in the UK until about 2 or 3 months ago

keyless go was an option on 211 E63 .. which could be what you have been seeing advertised with keyless go

Ahh...that explains a lot then. Thanks for that.

The one I saw was definitely a W212 (2010 model) so he must have been mistaken in his advertising.

We have a 2011 E63 Estate with the PPP but no keyless - as another poster has said I dont think it was an option.

Its a great car. Good luck on the search.

yeah, mine doesn't have 'keyless go' either, not a biggie. it has an auto boot release/close though. such a brilliant car, although with half worn tyres it does rather struggle for traction at this time of year...amusing. make sure u get the slippy diff.

My last MB was a W211 E55 which had keyless. My present car (Audi S8) has keyless. I'm going to miss it. frown

You sort of get used to just throwing the key in a shirt pocket really, seems a bit of an oversight from Mercedes really.

At least my search is becoming easier. smile
