Hi Guys and Girls,
I have just bought myself a 1M.
Is not a car in daily use so I'd like to really good quality outside cover for it.
Anyone had any experience on which I should buy or avoid please.

Yil, the best I have found for Australian conditions, assuming they're available in the UK are Autotecnica.Stormguard...fully waterproof car covers.I bought one for my Jag and one for my Mercedes and recommend them. They are heavt duty with soft, non scratch fleece lining. Not cheep...I paid 190 dallars for the Jag size and 140 dollars for the Merc size. Worth it.

Google 'specialised covers'. I have one for my S2000 and the fit is excellent.

It's been through two winters now, and shows no sign of wear.

Thanks, seen specialised covers, I'm guessing that is the waterproof breathable one?
Don't want my cat to remain damp, does they dry underneath well.

Halfords do a breathable, waterproof car cover for around £50. Obviously the fit isn't going to be perfect though.

I had a specialised cover on my exige, waterproof and breathable. Not cheap but it was very good. Custom made for the car so fitted like a glove and a nice fleece like lining to prevent scratching.

You do need to make sure the car is dry before covering though.

I bought the Halfords waterproof breathable cover. Cost around £70. It has done the job admirably for 2 winters with little sign of wear. It has elastic acted edges and two under car straps. It also comes in at least 3 sizes. My only negative is that it doesn't have a furry, fluffy lining, but then it wasn't £200+

I think I'd rather spend the money and go for the best. I'll get a quote from specialised.
Thanks for the help.

Sam.
