Not for that money. Will probably go to Singapore or Middle East. The cars will need work for them to run and are now investment prices not drivable cars.

These cars are from the BonkeRS collection. AFAIK they have both had the relevant work to bring them up to scratch and get running since they were discovered and purchased from the original owner.

I don't think either of these cars is from the 'Bonkers Collection' as they were both Brilliant Red and neither of those BR cars had the additional roof aerial that this BR car has.

Also it says re the GS car,

The car is currently registered in Germany with all paperwork regarding the registration still present.

Yes and those cars were delivery mileage.

Still £80k a piece seems mighty steep?!?! Classic Hero's had a low mileage one of these for less than £60k until recently and 4 star classics had one last year which took a long time to sell at just over £50k.

These are catagorically not the BonkeRS cars. Those were unregd. Delivery miles cara and are currently alive and well enjoying the beautiful Northern Irish countryside. If my sources are correct they were a snip compared to these 2.

It's quite possible the GS car has had a scuttle change.

At least I was correct on one aspect of my post (cars getting brought up to scratch) but wrong on the exact cars so apologies chaps for the confusion.

Either way crazy money so will be interesting what low mileage CSL's will get in 20yrs time eek

4star do a good job of inflating the market (or attempting to).

He spent around £70k on the pair and then sold one of them for £70k right?

Not within a country mile if my usually extremely reliable source is to be believed.
