Door button.

Whilst taking the roof off my slightly modified chimaera this morning the passenger door button stayed down. I got round this by hitting the central locking button to keep it closed so that I could enjoy the wonderful commute this morning. How do I get it to "pop up" again?

Sounds like a case for WD40 - I assume this is a pre-97/8 Chimaera so with the Alloy door buttons, rather than the wing mirror mounted ones?

Yep - Just a generous squirt straight onto it?

Depends if it's the button stuck down, or something holding it down.. WD40 down the button area and then grease the door latch on the wing and also pop off the carpet area behind the seat and WD40 in there too...
