93 X - Opinions and alternatives please!

Hi All
My mother is looking @ replacing her now defunct 2001 Saab 93. She likes the look of the 93 X, trouble is they are very few and far between, with only a few hundred sold according to howmanyleft. They do seem good value (as with all saabs).
Criteria is Auto, 10-12k, sub 10sec 0-60, AWD.
I think a Skoda Octavia Scout would be a great alternative, but I am having trouble convincing her about the badge
Any other ideas?
