So then, not usually one to post on PH but I thought maybe someone on here could shed some light on my situation.....

For the last 2 months on and off I've been having this ache (pain at times) in the lower right side of my stomach, when the pains not there it heads down to my right ball. My first thought was that it was a hernia but after two visits to my GP that's not it. Got a 'ball scan' booked next week, but until then if anyone has any ideas that would be great!

Thanks

I had something similar last year, did the manly thing of ignoring it. One night I was on the sofa and the pain was so bad I almost passed out. Went to hospital and turned out my liver had stopped working.

There was a blocking somewhere and my liver couldn't pass anything through. To this day my right nut/thigh still hurst if I eat a lot of junk food or drink.

Morale of the story, get to the docs.

Oh, if they offer to do a flexible cystoplasty, punch them in the dick and run away.

Testicular torsion?

No, that can't be right, the Dr would have rushed you into hospital...

...so I'm going for epididymitis.

Now, I'm going to ask this in the most manly and non-gay way possible... your bk, is it swollen, even slightly?

Had similar experience and turned out to be kidney stones. Scan confirmed and they were sonic blasted after which they made their exit naturally. Try drinking plenty of water to see if it flushes through. Hth.

Had that once and done the man thing. Nothing. Lasted about 3 weeks then it went.

To be fair to me though I thought it was a strain, and if it had went on much longer I would have seen the Doc.

UncleRic, not that I regularly check the size of my nut, but yeah I think when it's painful it is slightly swollen....is it going to explode?

ETA: The first doc I saw prescribed me antibiotics for epididymitis, but after taking them nothing had changed, so I guess it wasn't that.

Could be something called (I think) Varicocel. This is imflamation of the tube that goes into the nut. I have had it, it hurts but I am no doctor and so my opinion is worth nothing

Try not to worry about it. There are a few different possibilities, but you can be sure that all internet diagnoses lead to galloping deadly cancer!

Try to forget it for the moment, stay away from Google and wait for a proper diagnosis. wink

I've got the same thing, went to doctors and was given some deep muscle cream for my stomach thinking a pulled muscle, as I Had not had the ball pain then.

Ball pain has only happened once, and my stomach pain has eased, not as frequent and can hardly feel it, but I don't believe it's down the the muscle, definitely something else going on. Was about 3 weeks ago when I was given that cream, going to give it another week and if still there il go back to docs

Thank god I found this thread though, had been worrying!
