Although the car the engine is fitted in is a TVR Tasmin I thought this forum may have more experience of the engine. My engine is fitted with a Kent VT31X camshaft which is described as fast road / Rally use. Does anyone know the associated valve clearances or would you go with the standard Capri settings of 0.4mm exhaust and 0.35 inlets. I measured the "as is" settings and the majority seem to be 0.6 exhaust and 0.55 inlets which seem a bit large.

Try speaking to Burton Power or Specialised Engines in Essex. Both are Ford Performance engine specialists....
