Decals

Looking forward to getting the sx looking like an sx as well as sounding like one.

Now just gotta make sure I get'm straight!!

Hi Adam

I see from your pic its a SX350 as my decals are, Mark was wondering why my car was like this and UK Adams was a 400SX
So what should they be called?

Hi Andy,

When I first got the sx I did a lot of research on it and found quite a few pictures of it new, well newish, and they all say sx350 however it currently has 350sx on it.
I also talked to Jasper about it and he has the original brochure with my car on it and it also has sx350.
I think, but I may be wrong, that the 350's have the sx first and the 400's have it last, because once the 400 body shape was released TVR named it 400se and so it made sense to match the decals and so became the 400sx.
Even if it bks it sounds good!!!

I also think that it's @%&* reasons -the 390SE screws it up- but that your labelling is correct.

Well maybe haughins just decided it look better.
If sx stands for supercharged then it is grammatically correct to say supercharged 350 or 400 rather than the other way round.
And that ain't bks!!!

Im even more confused than i was originally..

I suppose its whatever sounds best..An SX350i..400SX.... ..350SX..SX400..350sxi..SX400se..350iSX...400sxse....This is holding up the wedge calendar..Shall i put SX350i for yours Andy and SX400 for yours Martin?..Cheers..ziga

Actually its got no decals at all!

According to jasper and the pictures I have mine should have:-
Haughins front spoiler passenger side
Sx350 front spoiler drivers side
Haughins sx350 on each side sill
Sx each side on the drop down of the boot spoiler
Sx350 on the boot drivers side
Haughins on the boot passenger side.
If anyone has any pics of my car please post
I'll try to get the brochure pics from jasper.

Odd, I always thought a 350SX was a supercharged 3.5L and a 400SX was a supercharged 4.0L. Didn't know it was SX350/ SX400, or that the SX350 was in a 400 style shell...

Now if it's 390SE clarification you want...
