A1 50mph limit near Peterborough

Any one any ideas why there has been a 50mph limit on the A1 just north of Peterborough for something approaching 12 months. There's a sign alleging a defective barrier, but you would have thought they might have fixed it in that time!

Is that the bit which is a 50 for like a mile? Was in the area the other day thought it was a little strange.

It's not a mile, more like 200m

No idea why it's there, but I can't say I've ever seen anyone do 50 through it.

I reckon it's been there over a year now but, as above, nobody seems to be doing 50 through it ....

Yep the barrier is "broken" I drive through there 4-6 times a week, can't say I've noticed the 50mph signs

However be aware the BIB have 2-3 unmarked Skoda Superbs operating in that area, grey/black/maroon
