Ferrograph 634 disposal
Discussion
Paul,
I have been collecting this type of machine from an early age.
I have several of these now including a Civic, Grundig, Couple of Phillips, Akai and the famous N4470.
I would be keen on taking off your hands.

Not Drawmer as in...Drawmer, surely?
I think that you get the prize for the connection in this section of PH!Unfortunately the connection is only in the name - which is unusual, but my Brother and I have talked to Ivor Drawmer about the family tree, and three generations back we haven't found a link yet!
Both my brother and I have been into electronics a bit in that we are both licensed radio hams (G4YFY & VE3SQU).
So no, I am not connected with that Drawmer.
For those that don't understand what I'm going on about, this link is nothing to do with me:
http://www.drawmer.com/index.php
But if you do want world class studio electronics....

Well indeed, it's not a very common name and when you start talking about studio electronics...Actually such is the coincidence, I've a feeling I already asked you the same question some years ago now Unfortunately the connection is only in the name - which is unusual, but my Brother and I have talked to Ivor Drawmer about the family tree, and three generations back we haven't found a link yet!

Must have been very interesting to speak to Mr Drawmer.
Could have - as we've both been on here for nearly 11 & 12 years now!
Many years ago, I sold cars in Caterham. One of my customers was a recording engineer and he was the first one to introduce me to the products of Ivor Drawmer. He showed me the racks of 'Drawmers' in his studio which was part of his home.
Back on track, the old Ferrograph is up to £50+ now. So will make a nice donation to our local hospice.
