Hi all,
I've been looking around here in Australia for company's who supplys suspension components.
I picked up a catalogue today which has quite an extensive range, now I can either measure each bush on my car to get a match or if we can get a list together of part numbers and what they are from then we should be able to get together a spec sheet and be able to order the parts we need.
Here's the link FYI just so you can see what I'm looking at
http://www.nolathane.com.au/catalogue.php
I would really like to be able to get this locally and thought with combined knowledge my quest may be made easier.
Cheers
Adam

Front is easy enough: Ford Cortina wishbones and lower arms.
A-frame bushes and diff lower mounts are something Imperial-sized that nobody seems to stock and those who know what they're from are keeping it very close to their chests (allegedly specially-made for TVR which I doubt). The tie-rod bushes are also Imperial; all I can tell you so far is they're not Jaguar, Landrover, Jensen or Aston Martin sizes.
The whole lot are probably from a milk float, goods vehicle or farm implement as it's unlikely TVR specially-commissioned Imperial bushes in the mid-80s when things were going firmly Metric.

This is what the Cortina original front set-up looked like...Granada similar, just scaled up slightly...so if ever your front chassis rots out, just bolt one of these on to it.
.

The Cortys were also fitted with those rubber pads that the (Wedge) springs sit in.

I thought there was a Nolathene bush for the rear end, it's something like a Lotus Elite (which is what the wedge copied in the first place). They are easy to get here in NZ, most of the automotive places do them (or will tell you where)
From memory, there was a rubber mount on a Triumph saloon that looked quite like the rear arm bush...but it probably isn't...
Remember the Vixen had a ball joint from a 1930's tractor !
