Katz Deli

Just had a lte lunch at Katz deli in New York. Famous from When Harry met Sally and Man v Food.

I had a 6inch tall corned beef on rye sandwich and some pickles.

Facking unreal.

I have a soft spot for their Reuben but it'd better be good at 17 bucks for a sandwich.

Always had a soft spot for Katz's too, though more recently I've found Carnegie and 2nd Ave. better. The latter is probably my favourite.

Hate the place...way too much meat (I mean its not even a proper sandwich), not much flavour, overpriced...people only go because of the film.

there are places that do old-style delicious, thick cut pastrami and great bread in Brooklyn, Katz is an anachronism these days.

Disagree, it's better than Carnegies ($23 for a Reuben!), but not as good as Ben's in Midtown.
