I've seen lots about reveneering dashboards on here and the right/wrong ways to do it etc. I was thinking, how about stripping the dash of it's veneer and using a vinyl print to stick on?

I have information somewhere about a company who either applied a vinyl wrap or dipped the dash - I can't remember which - and had some fantastic effects.

I'll see if I can find their details for you.
I had a price too, though only for the precat dash because we don't have the veneered heater/window switch panel.

I did mine in carbon fibre 3m wrap, it looked quite good tbh, I have since redone it in grey alcantara (suits the colour scheme better), it's a bit more difficult to do but again, looks ok.
I may one day get it reveneered, especially if I feel more confident of the new glues or methods of application being better able to cope with the different materials.

I did a 3M 'carbon' vinyl for a customer and it looked good IMHO.
Customer was very pleased which is all that matters.
