Seatbelt locking

For some reason, after 10 years, one of the seatbelts in the Griff is locking on the slightest movement.

Any ideas on how to resolve?

Check the reel hasn't been knocked, they need to be as straight as possible pointing up. Might just be on its way out, they don't last forever.

They do seem to be super sensitive, even parked on a slight incline mine will lock up and can't be negotiated with, harsh language doesn't even have much effect.

Park it on a flat drive and unreel it as slowly as you can all the way out and let it recoil very slowly, miner had a portion that had a very small fold and was jamming it.

I reckon the reel may have moved. I've had this with TVRs and similar cars.

One cure I found was to place a washer under the reel to slightly alter the spacing.

It may be worth a try if you can't find another fix.
