Is it just me or do MPV drivers have a habit of staying in the middle lane for no apparent reason, driving at below the average speed of the rest of the motorway and are generally arrogant middle aged men who will not move over no matter what?

Worst offenders seem to be Citroen Picasso and Peugeot MPV whatsit drivers.

P.S. The was an observation my Mrs FatAudi80 so it must be a new trend.....

Not me, sunshine.
Mrs Liszt has an Alhambra and it can managae a fair lick on the motorway.

There are people who drive well and there are people who do not drive so well. There are people who drive PH stylee cars and people who drive non PH stylee cars.

These groupos are not mutually exclusive.

PS My other car is a 4x4

Oi!!! I drive the old dears people carrier and I don't hang around! (Unless the old dear is in the car which means an automatic speed limit @ 85ish) lol

Definatly don't sit in the middle lane and my personally view is that (In whatever car i'm driving)its 30 in a 30, 40 in a 40, then after that its fair game depending on the conditions, traffic etc.

How are we going to get a proper stereotype going now?

Anyway, it's not about how fast you drive, it's about whether you are actually overtaking anything when you are in an overtaking lane, or whether you are sitting in said lane wondering if the distant speck on the inside lane might, when you catch it up in a couple of days time, actually be going slower than you!

from a part time galaxy driver you may have a point but the main reason is that the mpv market is growing.WE WILL TAKE OVER ONE DAY...

... if you could just use the inside lane until you reach the car you are trying to take over, then...

I personally give MPV's a VERY wide berth as they have a tendancy to swerve suddenly, usually when the people in the front seats turn back to thwack the smaller people in the back seats or pass them something or wipe their little faces

as someone who doesn't have kids (yet) i can only imagine when my MPV days come i to will loathe and despise the lucky ones driving next to me in their peaceful cars listening to their own music choice and not "Barnie the Purple dinosaur sings christmas carols"

oh...sorry no stereotypes allowed
