Hi There has anybody fitted these HID lights to their 2.5 or early 3 liter Nobles as an upgrade as my standard lights are awfull on dipped beam ive tried upgrading the standard bulbs but realy not up to the performance of the car

Yes i have. I ended up wiring them into the loom and hiding the boxes instead of just using the connectors they come with.

You WILL need to extend some wires. Dont be tempted to cut and solder as it wont be able to hold the voltage. They sell extension cables on the website.

Its and H4 kit you need for the early type headlights

No, just went for a normal h4 kit with 2 extensions per side. made a huge difference

What type would it need for a 3r conversion?

I just brought the brighter H4 bulbs from Philips. It's enough light for me.

This is one of the best upgrades I've done as far as usability is concerned. My lights a night when other cars 4x4's approaching where hopeless. Theses made all the difference and have stopped the flicker I would get with the old type. Always passed MOT with no problems. Give them a ring and they with give you the type needed as I can't remember the number. We were able to fit the ballast units that are required into the rear cover of my 3R units, heat has not been a problem. Hth
