I know that this is rather high miles (66k) for a T350 but being a RR and selling for only £16995 with loads of work carried out over the years I think it looks a cracking buy!!
The guy obviously knows his TVRs as he had had loads over the years. Wish I had the space for it as I would seriously consider this even though I already have a rather nice T350!!
Nice car people

It looks a great car in red , what I always wonder is why these engines need rebuilds , 66k miles isn't that many miles is it ? Thats what puts me off buying a speed six ie the cost of maintenance .
Get one with a recent power or str8 6 rebuild and engine maintenance is very reasonable. From what I gather early parts were poor, this has been addressed. Mine has proved to be very reliable.66k isn't a lot IMO for a car which is a few years old, it just seems a lot of Tvr owners think they own zondas and they are very very mileage sensitive, more so than even Ferrari and Porsche etc ( look how many 911 turbos with higher mileages are for sale and sell).
One which has been totally restored but has a high mileage reading is it appears worth less than one with low miles but hasn't had any issues addressed. Ridiculous IMO, a car gets to a certain age where miles really shouldn't matter.

Nice theory, sadly flawed. All else being equal, a restored car will always be worth less.
Why ?It's collectors that eventually drive up values and collectors prefer originality as in factory built and unmodified.

Generally a factory built car is a known entity (though not always a good thing as we know with TVRs).

Yes , see what you mean although there can't be many Tvr's out there that haven't been modified , this one looks a good deal for someone who is looking for a 350 and has sold their car .It's collectors that eventually drive up values and collectors prefer originality as in factory built and unmodified.

I suppose it depends on what you mean by modified. My car is a 2006 T350(Oct 55 engine etc) and has JP sports exhaust and been decatted! The rest of the car is as it left the factory.

A non rebuilt car will never be worth as much as a rebuilt one IMHO unless its a mega low miler museum piece
Its an opinion. An important part of my statement that suggested this.....that was the bit that said all things being equal. That would sugest a mega low mileage original car...or just a time warp original car that was in good uasable condition. Its no good trying to argue the facts either, the market does this all for us. (given that buyers rather than sellers ultimately dictate values in the classic car market)
I understand where your coming from and i was passing over my opinion. In the current market non rebuilt cars seem to not be selling for as much as rebuilt ones with the majority of owners (myself included) very afriad of a 7k repair bill. In the future i agree that low miler orignals will be highly collectable and will in turn attract a rather large amount of 20 quid notes!
