when they ask on the insurance quotes do you own a home , does it alter the premium or is it just a nod for them to send home insurance quotes to those that own?
It's a way of obtaining more business for them and also a discount for you... I saved 15% on my motor quote by having house insurance already with same company. And a further 10% for having 2 vehicles.
